Our work

Across the Alluvium Group, our Australian business employs more than 150 staff, including engineers, scientists and economists. Our work focuses on: sharing water resources efficiently, sustainably and equitably; shaping cities and communities; addressing climate change through enhanced adaption and resilience; and addressing the decline in our natural resources. We support our clients through offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Townsville and Byron Bay.

Our work in South Asia focuses on India, where we combine bold thinking, robust science and unique insight to deliver smart, practical and cost-effective development solutions. We work collaboratively with funders, governments, non-governmental organisations, civil society organisations and private businesses to develop inclusive, ecosystem-based approaches that tackle the growing threats of climate change and rapid urbanisation. Our team works from offices in Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai. We also work across the region, including in Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Our work in Southeast Asia focuses on the four countries of the lower Mekong: Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Lao PDR. We are committed to providing evidence-based solutions to the challenges at the intersection of people and the environment. We work collaboratively with funders, governments, non-governmental organisations, civil society organisations and private businesses to develop inclusive, ecosystem-based approaches that tackle the growing threats of climate change and rapid urbanisation.

New Zealand is a growing market for the Alluvium Group, where our focus is on urban and rural catchment management. Our work extends to catchments, rivers and coastal environments, where we combine best-practice science, engineering and economics.
